INTRODUCTION
The date of birth of Jesus Christ is not stated in the gospels or in any historical sources but most biblical scholars assume a year of birth between 6 and 4 BC.
They say that
historical evidence is too incomplete to allow a definitive dating, but the
year is estimated so far through three different approaches:
1) analyzing references to known historical events
mentioned in the nativity accounts in the Gospels of Luke and Matthew,
2) working backward from the estimation of the start
of the ministry of Jesus, and
3) astrological or astronomical alignments.
The common Christian traditional dating of the birthdate of Jesus was 25 December, a date first asserted officially by Pope Julius I in 350 A D, although this claim is dubious or otherwise unfounded. The day or season has been estimated by various methods, including the description of shepherds watching over their sheep.
The first Christian writer to make a specific claim
about the timing of the birth of Jesus Christ is the second-century bishop and
of heresiologist Irenaeus Lyons (c. AD 130–200)
IRENAEUS LYONS thought Jesus was born during 14 A D

that
‘Jesus was born on September 29, 3 B.C’

Jehovah’s Witnesses – Jesus Christ was born in the early fall of 2 B.C.E
And many others that have stumbled and fallen at the
truth of Jesus Christ’s birth date’
We all have been taught that Jesus Christ had been born on December 25th.
The birth date of Jesus Christ’s birth is unknown
until now here in 2022
After 47 years of exhaustive biblical research,
rightly dividing God’s glorious, matchless word of truth, and revelation from
God.
It has been noted that the 25th of December is two
days after the end of the Roman festival of Saturnalia (An ancient Roman
festival and holiday in honour of the god Saturn, held on 17 December of the
Julian calendar and later expanded with festivities through to 23 December).
Some have speculated that part of the reason this date
was chosen may have been because Julius was trying to create a Christian
alternative to Saturnalia
Another reason for the decision may have been because, in 274 A D, the Roman emperor Aurelian had allegedly declared 25 December the birthdate of Sol Invictus (the Roman son god) and that Julius I allegedly may have thought that he could attract more converts to Christianity by allowing them to continue to celebrate on the same day but this cannot be historically verified. He may have also been influenced by the idea that Jesus had died on the anniversary of his conception because Jesus died during Passover and, in the third century AD, Passover was celebrated on 25 March Julius I may have assumed that Jesus's birthday must have come nine months later, on 25 December.
Alternatively, some others claim in the last half of 5
BC is most likely, the evidence can only be given to support 6 to early 4 BC as
the window of time for the birth of Christ so they say.
Yet others seek to calculate the birth of Jesus based
on the "70 Weeks" in Daniel 9, but a variety of factors make these
findings untrue.
The first Christian writer to make a specific claim
about the timing of the birth of Jesus is the second-century bishop and
heresiologist Irenaeus of Lyons (c. AD 130–200). Which again does not
correspond with the Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance of the
numbers used by God when setting up, the birth of Christ and running the World.
And there are many others whom have tried to
ascertained Jesus Christ actual birth date.
1) RIGHTLY DIVIDING
The first thing that needs to be done before we go any farther in studying the word of God, we must first do what God tells us in His Word as states in –
2nd Timothy 2:15 - "Study to show
yourself approved unto God, a workman that doesn’t need to be ashamed, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth."
To Rightly Divide God's Word is to bring it back to
its originally revealed form in its Integrity, Accuracy and its Simplicity, FREE
FROM Denominational, Evangelistic and Cult Overtones, whose teachings on
the most part are made up of Religiosity.
Religiosity is made up of three main ingredients:
The Doctrines of Men: These are based solely on
the dogma of men. Dogmatism is the assertion of man’s own ideas as though they
were fact.
The Traditions of Men: Based solely on oral report
handed down over a long period of time, usually accepted as Historically True,
but not verifiable.
The Commandments of Men: These are the instructions
given unto their followers on what they should or should not do concerning their
"Walk with God." For the most
part they are always based on the Doctrines and Traditions of Men.
God’s Word calls Religion in -
Galatians 4:9 - "The weak and beggarly
elements that keep you under bondage".
Jesus Christ talked about Religion in -
Matthew 15:3 & 9 - "But he (Jesus
Christ) answered and said unto them (the religious leaders of that time)
why do you also transgress the commandment of God, by your tradition?”
Then Christ summed it all up in -
Mark 7:13(b) - " - making the Word of God of
no effect through your traditions, which you have delivered; and many such
things you do."
God Himself even took the trouble to warn us of Religion in His
Word as recorded in -
Colossians 2:8 - "Beware less any man spoil
you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the
rudiments (principles) of this world, and not after Christ – (John
7:16 – Jesus answered them, and said, my doctrine is not mine, but his
(God) that sent me.
John 14:24 - He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:
and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 5:30 - I can of mine own self do nothing: …. I
seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.)
Even Daniel Webster in his famous dictionary calls Religion "MAN'S
OWN expression (not God’s) of his acknowledgement of the Divine."
THE TEN BASIC STEPS TO RIGHTLY DIVIDING
1) Chapters & Verses - In the original
manuscripts of the Bible there were no such things as chapters or verses. The
Word was written on scrolls with no divisions of chapters and verses. These
were added by man, as were all the words that are in italics, to make the
scriptures easier to follow. However, they constitute absolutely nothing to the
Integrity, Accuracy, or Simplicity of The Word of God. Chapters first appeared
in a translation of the Bible in 1250 A.D. Verses first appeared in the Geneva
Bible translation of 1560 A.D. Both chapters and verses appeared together in
the King James translation of the Bible in 1611. Incidentally, over 97% of all
English translations of the Bible were translated from the King James Version.
Thus, if there are errors in the King James translation then obviously the
others are not accurate either. That is why God had 2nd Timothy 2:15 put in His
Word. However, the translators of King James' time had more Biblical Knowledge
than Grammatical Knowledge. Thus, the division of God's Word into chapters and
verses was very poorly done. Keep in mind, that for their day in time, they did
an exceptional job, with the knowledge they had.
Example-
John 7:53 - "And every man went unto his own
house."
John 8:1&2 - 1 - "Jesus went unto the
mount of Olives”
2 - "And early in the morning he came again into the temple
"
The context of the end of chapter seven is where
everyone went after their meeting. Chapter 8 verse one is still talking about
where everyone went. Verse two starts with where Jesus went in the morning.
This is a different context than that of where they went the night before.
Thus, the proper division between chapter seven and eight should have been made
between verse one and two of chapter eight. -
John 7:53 - "And every man went unto his own
house, Jesus went unto the mount of Olives"
John 8:1 - "And early in the morning he came
again into the temple ..... "
2) Scriptural Punctuation - Mankind added the
punctuation in translation. In a lot of scriptures, because of the punctuation,
the meaning of the context of the verses are greatly distorted. Punctuation
constitutes absolutely nothing to the accuracy, integrity and simplicity of
God's Word. A prime example of a
statement being distorted to the end that the majority of "religious"
organizations teach that the minute you die you go to heaven is based on a
comma wrongly placed in -
Luke 23:43 - "And Jesus said unto him,
(one of the malefactors), verily I say unto thee, to day thou shalt be with
me in paradise."
In this reference a comma was put after you, which
dictates that which Jesus said starts with "today thou shalt..."
which suggests that the day on which Jesus was talking, the malefactor would go
to paradise with Jesus.
There are four major problems with this -
- Jesus was entombed for three days and three nights
and got up 72 hrs. later without the malefactor.
- Jesus was alive and well for forty days after his
resurrection before he went to sit at the right hand of God in heaven without
the malefactor.
- Paradise is the new earth that is to come; it is in
the future.
- If heaven was paradise and people went there the minute,
they died there would be no need for Christ to come back because every one
would already be there.
Thus, if there was going to be any punctuation at all,
it should have been inserted after ‘today’ -
Luke 23:42 - Jesus said unto him, verily I say to thee
today, thou shalt be (future tense) in paradise with me."
3) How the Word Explains Itself in Its Verse:
Romans10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
4) How the word explains itself in its context
Romans 10:10 - For with the heart man believeth
unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
5) How The Word Explains Itself in Its Previous Usage:
Luke 2:22 - "And when the days of her
purification according to the Law of Moses were accomplished."
Previous Usage –
Leviticus 12:1-4 - "And the Lord spoke unto
Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have
conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days;
according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised. And she
shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she
shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary; until the days of
her purifying be fulfilled."
6) To Whom Are Certain Scriptures Written:
Malachi 1:1 - " .... the Word of the Lord to
Israel..." Obviously, the book of Malachi is written to
all of Israel.
James 1:1 - "... to the twelve tribes which
are scattered abroad .." As you can see James is written to the twelve
tribes of Israel who are scattered abroad, not just those in Jerusalem.
Romans 1:7 - "To all that are in Rome, beloved
of God, called to be saints …”
This book is not addressed to Israel, but to the born-again/saved
believers who by God are called saints.
The book of Hebrews is written to those who live in
this, The Grace Period, but because of the lack of knowledge still live under
The Law Period - Ten Commandments.
7) Old Testament Aramaic (Hebrew) Words - Have they been properly
translated into English with their proper meanings? Even a small dot instead of
two dots over the same word mean different things.
Example-
Numbers 25:4 - "And the Lord said unto Moses,
Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the Lord against the
sun .."
In this scripture it sounds like God is telling Moses to
kill all the people and then hang their heads on poles in the sun, doesn't it?
When we examine the Old Testament Hebrew/Aramaic Text,
we find the following word similarities -
Another word
When we further examine and translate the rest of the
scripture accurately into English from the Aramaic, we have the following
accurate translation of
Numbers 25:4 - "And the Lord said to Moses,
Take all the chiefs of the people and expose them before the Lord in the
daylight .. "
The proper translation sure makes a difference,
doesn't it?
8) New Testament Greek Words - are they properly
translated into English with their proper meanings?
Example -
Matthew 19:24 - "And again I say unto you, It
is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle ...
It seems a little far-fetched for a camel to go
through the eye of a needle, doesn’t it?
The original New Testament Greek from which the word ‘camel’
was translated is
The translators in 1250, 1560 and 1611, because of
their lack of communications with the Bible Lands, did not know that the
ancient people made rope from camels’ hair. Thus, they inserted gamla as
meaning camel instead of rope.
Thus, accurately translated-
Matthew 19:24 -
"And again I say unto you, it is easier for a rope, to go through the
eye of a needle ...."
9) Orientalisms- The Thought, Culture and Philosophy of Biblical Times.
If these are not understood, then all you have is an Eastern Cultural book in a
Western Society that is hard to understand.
Example -
Isaiah 40:1&2 - "Comfort yourself, comfort yourself my
people, says your God. Speak comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that
her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she has
received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins."
To receive double, in the English language, means to
receive twice as much. If a man is paid double wages for working on Sunday or
holidays as is required in many of the union contracts, he gets twice as much
as he does for a regular work day. If a judge requires double punishment for an
infraction of the law to a two-time perpetrator, the sentence might be sixty
days instead of the normal thirty.
Based on the thinking of the Western mind many people
are convinced that God was dishing out double punishment for the sins of the
people of Jerusalem. I assure you that this interpretation of this passage is
simply not true. Once again, when you deal only with the language, it is very
easy to misunderstand the scriptures. But once you know something of the
cultural background, the seeming contradictions will disappear. This statement
under consideration is a good example just how important it is to have a
general knowledge of the thought, culture and philosophy of Biblical times.
This scripture plainly states prophetically that the
warfare of Jerusalem is over. Her iniquity is pardoned. Then in almost the same
breath the Word says that Jerusalem has received double for all her sins. If
that means double punishment, we do indeed have a problem. And yet, we know
that God Almighty does not pardon and then punish, even once, let alone twice.
God removes our sin and forgets it.
The answer is with "The Elders of the Gate."
These men are elected by the people, and they have a chairman. They meet in a
building just inside the gate of the city. They have certain hours for
consideration of the cases brought before them. It might be a matter of a
quarrelling husband and wife, disobedient children, lawbreakers, or a
disagreement between neighbors or business associates. The elders of the gate
consider each case and decide what is to be done in regard to settlements and
punishment for each case. The chairman of the elders of the gate keeps his mind
open to God and depends on Him for leadership in rendering the proper judgment.
Often you will see him scribbling in the sand with his finger. This is the
manner used by people in the East in practicing the art of shutting out
everything, and keeping the mind concentrated on God. This was what Jesus was
doing when the woman who was accused of adultery was brought before him. He was
waiting for revelation, or wisdom from God on what to do or say.
The gate of the city is used as a "public
bulletin board." Suppose someone had become so indebted that he could not
satisfy his creditors. In today's society you could find out this kind of
information about people through the credit bureau and public court records,
but the people of the East could find out if a man was a good credit risk or
not by going to the gate of the city. There they would find all his debts
listed. They were in full view of everyone. The humiliation is unbelievable. And
the record hangs there, on the gate, until the creditors were paid. Usually, a
man could never pay off these accounts by himself. There just was not the
possibility that he could pull himself up by his own boot straps. At least the
possibility would be remote. But if someone - and it would usually be a kinsman
- came along who was willing to "bail him out," then they brought the
evidence of the satisfaction of his creditors to the elders of the gate. They
then would take the sheet on which was listed his debts and fold it in two or
double it over and tack it back to the gate. Now anyone who looks can find
nothing against him. He has a clean slate, a fresh start. Everything from the
past is done away.
It makes quite a difference when you understand the
customs and culture of Biblical times, doesn't it???
10) Figures of Speech - A figure of speech is an
unusual, essentially metaphorical mode of expression used for effect in speech
and writing to clarify or deepen a meaning by suggesting similitude's which
provoke thought. The study of figures of speech is very important to an
in-depth understanding of God's Word. There are 212 different figures of speech
used in the Bible, and up to forty variations of one kind. Jesus Christ used figures of speech alot
when he talked to the general populous.
Matthew Chapter 13 is full of them -
- the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man which sowed
good seed in his field ..
- the kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of
mustard seed ....
- the kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven ....
In Conjunction with These Ten Basic Steps to Rightly
Dividing,
even the numbers, the sounds, the music, the colors, physiology, chemistry, the
vegetable kingdom, nature, The Heavens and chronology that are used in God's
Word all have Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance that rounds out
the complete truth in God's glorious, matchless, rightly divided Word of Truth.
EXPOUNDING MORE PERFECTLY-
If you don't Rightly Divide God’s Glorious Matchless
Word all you have is a bunch of manmade lies masquerading as God's Truths –
leading people directly to hell!!!
SUPERNATURAL DESIGN AND SPIRITUA L SIGNIFICANCE of NUMBERS
2) SUPERNATURAL DESIGN and SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE of NUMBERS used by God in the scriptures.
There is one more thing to take into consideration while establishing Jesus Christ’s true date birth. We must examine the Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance of the basic numbers used by God when setting up the world as we know it, along with Christ’s birth and running the World.
The most prevalent numbers used by God 3 5 7 10 12 and in some cases there
derivates.
- Three - stands for that which is
solid, real, substantial, complete, & entire.
All things that are especially complete are stamped
with this number three.
God's attributes are three: omniscience, omnipresence,
and omnipotence.
- There are three great divisions completing time - the
past, present, and future.
- Three persons, in grammar, express and include all
the relationships of mankind.
- Thought, word, and deed, complete the sum of human
capability.
- Three degrees of comparison complete our knowledge
of qualities.
- Three propositions are necessary to complete the
simplest form of
argument--the major premise, the minor, and the
conclusion.
- Three kingdoms embrace our ideas of matter--mineral,
vegetable, and animal.
- The number three is completion, becomes Divine, and
marks Divine completeness or perfection.
Hence the number three points us to what is real,
essential, perfect, substantial, complete, and Divine. There is nothing real in
man or of man.
Everything "under the sun" and apart from
God is "vanity." "Every man at his best estate is altogether
vanity".
Five denotes grace. Grace means favour. But what kind of favor? for favor is of many kinds. Favor shown to the miserable we call mercy; favor shown to the poor we call pity; favor shown to the suffering we call compassion; favor shown to the obstinate we call patience: but favour shown to the unworthy we call GRACE! This is favor indeed; favor which is truly Divine in its source and in its character. Light is thrown upon it in Romans 3:24, "being justified freely by His grace." The word here translated "freely" occurs again in John 15:25, and is translated "without a cause" ("they hated me without a cause"). Was there any real cause why they hated the Lord Jesus? No! Nor is there any cause in us why God should ever justify us. So, we might read Romans 3:24 thus: "Being justified without a cause by His grace." Yes, this is grace indeed; favour to the unworthy.
Seven denotes spiritual perfection. The great number of spiritual perfection. A
number which, therefore, occupies so large a place in the Word of God as being
inspired by the Holy Spirit.
- Seven occurs 287 times in
God’s Word.
- "Seventh," the fractional part, occurs 98
times in God’s Word.
- "Seven-fold," occurs 7 times.
It is, however, when we come to consider its
significance that the true glories of its spiritual perfection are revealed.
Ten - Completeness of order, marking
the entire round of anything, Therefore, the ever-present signification of the
number ten. It implies that nothing is wanting; that the number and order are
perfect; that the whole cycle is complete. Ten is one of the perfect numbers,
and signifies the perfection of Divine order.
Twelve is a perfect number, signifying perfection of government, or
of governmental perfection. It is found as a multiple in all that has to do with rule.
The sun which "rules" the day, and the moon and stars which
"govern" the night, do so by their passage through the twelve signs
of the Zodiac which completes the great circle of the heavens of 360 (12 x 30)
degrees or divisions, and thus govern the year.
Twelve is the product of 3 (the perfectly Divine and
heavenly number) and 4 (the earthly, the number of what is material and
organic).
While seven is composed of 3 added to 4, twelve is 3
multiplied by 4, and hence denotes that which can scarcely be explained in
words, but which the spiritual perception can at once appreciate, that is to
say; namely., organization, the products denoting production and multiplication
and increase of all that is contained in the two numbers separately. The 4 is
generally prominently seen in the twelve.
Twenty-One - is a combination of 3 - which stands for that
which is solid, real, substantial, complete, & entire. And 7 -
denotes spiritual perfection’
3 and 7 combined would be a complexion of spiritual
perfection.
We must take in the Correspondence of Scripture and recorded facts and the Associations of the Magi, Persia, Zoroastrianism.
The Greek word for "wise men" is the Greek μάγος
meaning, magos which is the title of the Magian Priest-hood.
The Magi were an ancient priestly caste in the Near
East whom the Greek historian Herodotus associated with the Medes, and whose
religion originally consisted of forms of Iranian nature worship, especially of
the sun. During the period of the Persian Empire, the Zoroastrian reform of
Iranian religion resulted in the distinct divergence of two Magian sects, one devoted
to their original pagan cult and the other to Zoroastrianism.
Zoroastrianism was a unique religion to have arisen
amidst rampant paganism in its time.
Among their basic beliefs, the Zoroastrians forbade idolatry; they believed in one supreme God, Ahura Mazda, the creator of the universe and father of all that is good. They believed in a spiritual adversary, Angro Mainyu, the father of darkness and evil; and they believed in the coming of man’s redeeming Prophet, the savior Saoshyant! (literally means "one who brings benefit".
The spiritual doctrines of Zoroastrianism are
remarkably similar to those of the Old Testament, and as such, contain some of
God’s truth.
Following the fall of the Persian Empire, Zoroastrianism slowly declined.
The pagan Magi were the most influential people but
even they eventually fell into disrepute. They were spiritualists and sorcerers
who were well known in the Roman Empire where they nurtured the growth of
Mithraic sun worship in the West. Only in the Parthian province of Persia was
Zoroastrianism purely maintained by the Persian Magi. This is clearly attested
by the fact that in the second century A.D., the Persians (Sassanian dynasty)
successfully revolted against the ruling Parthians in a civil war and formed
the Neo-Persian Empire in which Zoroastrianism was established as the state
religion.
At the time of Christ, the lands toward the east of Palestine
were known as the Parthian Empire, a large and powerful kingdom which
continuously rivaled Rome in the Near East. The Magi were members of the
Parthian Senate, the Megistanes whose power was superseded only by the emperor.
They could indeed be regarded as kings in their own
right, as well as priests, having great wealth and land holdings. Zoroastrian
Magi were held in high esteem by the Greeks who regarded them as men of
integrity and of great wisdom and learning,
having an education which even surpassed the Athenians. They also were renowned
astronomers and in the case of the pagan sect of Zoroastrianism, astrologers.
The Magi mentioned by Matthew were indeed Zoroastrian priests from Persia who
came on a pilgrimage in search of the savior whose star they had seen as the
sign of his birth. The epithet "from the east" refers not only to
their geographic origin, but to their reputation as well. Distinguishing these
eastern
Zoroastrian Magi from the pagan Magi known in the
West.
These Magi claim to have seen "...his (the King
of the Judeans) star in the east...." The Greek word for "star"
is aster meaning "a single star," but according to usage this word
referred to all heavenly phenomena in general except for the sun and moon. For
example, a comet was known as a meteor
aster meaning "hairy star," a nova was referred to as a new Aster
meaning "new star," and a planet was called a planets aster meaning
"wandering star." Planetary configurations and conjunctions were also
regarded as stars. Based upon the usage of this word
aster, the star of Bethlehem, could have been any one of a variety of
astronomical phenomena.
The expression "in the east" is the Greek
phrase "ente anatole" this literally translated means "in the
rising." Anatole appears in Greek texts in two forms, the singular and the
plural. The plural form refers to the geographic direction of the sunrise,
where the sun rises again and again, and therefore is rendered "east"
as in verse one. The singular form is an astronomical term referring to the
"heliacal" rising of a star, that is, a rising out from behind the
sun rather than a rising above the eastern horizon. When a star
rises heliacally, it is only visible in the eastern
sky shortly before sunrise. Therefore, the expression "ente anatole"
in verse two is more accurately translated "in the sun rising" (e.g.,
see Luke 1:78 where anatole is translated "day spring" or "sun
rising"). This star signifying Christ’s birth was first visible in the
eastern sky at sunrise.
All the known astral phenomena which occurred around
the time of Christ’s birth must be objectively considered. If the star of
Bethlehem were an event not historically recorded, or which cannot be verified
by mathematical calculations, then it will forever remain a mystery. But if the
star were an event for which there is documentation accurately corresponding to
the precedent of the Biblical description and supplemented by strong supporting
evidence, then a qualified conclusion can be reached.
There are many kinds of astronomical phenomena. “Such
as meteors, aurora borealis, zodiacal glow, and solar and lunar eclipses that can
be discounted as potential candidates for the Star of Christmas because they
are transient by nature.
The Biblical account clearly describes a phenomenon
which is both recurrent and extended. This narrows down the astral
possibilities to comets, novae and planetary configurations.
Astronomers of the Near East and China recorded many such phenomena during ancient times; and the mathematical tools of modern astronomy make available the calculations of planetary positions during past millennia.
Chinese historians kept very accurate records of the
appearances of "strange" stars, both novae called "fire stars,"
and comets known as "Sweeping stars." During the reign of the emperor
Ai-Ti (6AD to 1 B.C.), two such unusual stars were observed and recorded.
The first occurred in March, 5 B.C. It appeared in the
constellation Capricorn (Capricorn in winter sign ruled by Saturn) the planet
of adversity. where it was visible for about seventy days in the eastern
morning sky. This star was a nova because a comet would not remain in the same
stellar division for over two months.
The second strange star appeared in April, 4 B.C. It
was visible in the constellation Aquila, (Aquila is a constellation on the
celestial equator. Its name is Latin for 'eagle' and it represents the bird
that carried Zeus/Jupiter's thunderbolts in Greek-Roman mythology).
The celestial equator is the great circle of the
imaginary celestial sphere on the same plane as the equator of Earth. This
plane of reference bases the equatorial coordinate system. In other words, the
celestial equator is an abstract projection of the terrestrial equator into outer
space. Due to Earth's overhead in the morning sky. During April the sun would
have been in Aries, so this star had an elongation of about ninety degrees. A
comet at this elongation is usually quite faint and not likely visible to the
naked eye. Therefore, this star was a nova also. There are no other known
records of unusual stars which have appeared during the time span in which
Christ’s birth occurred.
The strange star appearing consecutively prior to the
nova in 5 B.C. was a passing of Halley’s comet in 12 B.C. and the star
appearing consecutively after the nova of 4 B.C. occurred in 13 A.D. Both go
far beyond the period of Christ’s birth to be seriously considered for the star
of Bethlehem. The novae of March, 5 B.C. and April, 4 B.C. are the only potential
candidates from the category of comets / novae.
The only other types of phenomena to be considered are planetary configurations such as conjunctions and groupings. These configurations are the apparent relative positions of the planets according to an Earth-based observer as he watches them orbit the sun. A conjunction of planets is the least apparent separation of two planets, usually when they meet in the same degree of the ecliptic. Planetary groupings, also known as a "Massing of planets," is the close approach of three or more planets to each other.
During the decade in which Christ was born (10-1
B.C.), there were dozens of conjunctions and several groupings. This long list
must be greatly reduced to the likely candidates for the Star of Bethlehem.
Most planetary groupings can be discounted because they were not recurrent. For example, a massing of the planets Jupiter, Saturn and Mars toward the end of February, 6 B.C. has been considered by scholars as a likely candidate for the stars of Bethlehem; but this cannot be true, because the Biblical account clearly states that the ‘star’ appeared at least two times, whereas this configuration occurred only once during the time period being considered. All configurations involving the planet Mercury are also inconsequential because they are frequent, ordinary events which were not likely to have been attributed an astrological meaning of such importance as the nativity of the King of the Judeans. They occur close to the sun and are usually difficult to observe. There were also many conjunctions which occurred in close proximity to the sun, and these too can be disregarded.
Even though the list becomes greatly reduced by these
considerations, it is still substantial. Among the planets visible to the naked
eye, with the exception of Mercury, there were recurring conjunctions of Saturn
/ Venus, Jupiter / Venus, Mars / Venus, Saturn / Mars, Jupiter / Mars and
Jupiter Saturn during the decade10 AD -1
B.C., though not all were visible from
the Near East at the precise moments of conjunction.
One of the more striking examples are the conjunctions of Jupiter and Venus on August 12, 3 B.C. and June 17, 2 B.C. The former was visible (From the Near East) in the eastern sky before dawn. At conjunction the planets were separated by about one-fifth degree. The latter conjunction could be observed in the western evening sky where the two planets approached so closely to each other that they appeared to merge to form one brilliant star. Both of these conjunctions occurred in the constellation Leo, which is astrologically significant because Leo is the sign of Judah, the tribe from which the Messiah was to come.
The most noteworthy example is a triple conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in 7 B.C. Three times during that year these planets came into conjunction as they progressed through retrograde motion. Conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn are the most infrequent among the visible planets, and therefore, could certainly have been ascribed the greatest significance by ancient astrologers, such as the nativity sign of the king of the Judeans.
On the morning of May 27, the first conjunction of
Jupiter and Saturn took place. The planets rose over the eastern horizon about
3 hours before sunrise. They were very near conjunction and prominently visible
in the eastern sky at dawn. The actual conjunction itself occurred shortly
after sunrise (as seen by an observer in the Near East).
On October 5, the second conjunction took place late in the evening at which time the planets were visible almost overhead, high in the eastern sky.
The third conjunction occurred on the evening of
December 1. Jupiter and Saturn could be observed high in the southeastern sky
at sunset, about 1 & 1/2 hours east of the meridian (it is a line of
longitude. The position of a point along the meridian is given by that
longitude and its latitude, each meridian is perpendicular to all circles of
latitude. A meridian is half of a great circle on Earth's surface. The length
of a meridian on a modern ellipsoid model of Earth (WGS 84) has been estimated
as 20,003.93 km
(12,429.87 mi). The time of conjunction was later in
the evening when the planets were high in the southwestern sky. All three
conjunctions took place in the constellation Pisces during which the planets
were separated by about one degree.
The many conjunctions which must be considered can be narrowed down if the time period in which Christ was born could be focused to within definite limits. To determine this, historical evidence must be addressed. The historian Josephus provided some chronology with a very useful piece of information. He states that there was an eclipse of the moon shortly before King Herod’s death. According to astronomical calculations, the only lunar eclipse visible from the Near East at that time took place on March 13, 4 B.C. Since Christ was born before Herod died, then the spring of 4 B.C. marks a well-defined outer limit. Another historical event which can be documented is the taxation mentioned in the Gospel of Luke for which Joseph and Mary traveled from Nazareth of Galilee to Bethlehem of Judea where Jesus was born
JUPITOR+
- At some time
in 8 B.C., Augustus Caesar decreed an enrolment of the entire Roman Empire. Due
to the slow rate of communication and to the complexities of administration,
the enrolment was carried out in the eastern regions of the empire, Syria and
Palestine, at some time during the year 7 B.C.
- On May 27, 7
B.C., certain Magi living in Persia observed the conjunction of Jupiter and
Saturn in the constellation Pisces, the sign of the
fishes.
Expounding More Perfectly about the Constellation
Pisces
The sign of Pisces is made up of two fish on a
cord. One fish is pointed toward the
pole star in the direction of Heaven and the other toward the path of the
Sun. This symbolizes the priest, who
intercedes for the believer. The fish
pointed toward Heaven symbolizes the priest, and the fish pointed toward the
Ecliptic (sun) symbolizes the believer, who comes to the priest to reach
God. People took lambs and other animals
to Levitical priests, who offered the animals as sacrifices to God. The fundamental meaning of Pisces is that
picture of the priest interceding for the believer.
Jesus Christ was born at the beginning of the Age of
Pisces. He was the High Priest of the
Church. Thus, He is symbolized by the
fish pointed toward Heaven along the Z-axis.
The congregation of believers in Christ is symbolized by the other fish, which is pointed toward the Ecliptic along the X-axis. The two fish also symbolize a witness. Thus, Pisces also symbolizes Christ and Christian witnesses who take the Gospel into the world.
During ancient times the fishes were widely regarded
as a symbol of redemption and also of Israel whose Messianic reputation was
well known throughout the East. Also, Pisces was considered to be the
constellation ruling several regions which included Palestine, thus, signifying
the birth of a major prophet. Also Pisces is the twelfth and final astrological
sign in the zodiac)
The redeeming prophet whom the Magi as Zoroastrians were
anticipating. They made plans and prepared for a pilgrimage to Jerusalem to pay
homage to the child.
C) At some time between March and late October in 7
B.C., Joseph and Mary traveled from Nazareth of Galilee where they were
residing to their native city, Bethlehem of Judea, to register for the
enrolment. During this time, Jesus was born in a stable because there was no
room in the inn. Later, Joseph found a more suitable residence for his family
in Bethlehem; the house where the Magi found them.
D) According to tradition, the flocks in Palestine are
out in the field between March and late October and early November, but are
kept in the fold during the winter months. Christ must therefore have been born
sometime during the warmer seasons because the shepherds were out in the field
with their flocks.
Luke 2:8-10 - And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them (Gabriel, God’s messenger), and the glory of the Lord shone round about them (the shepherds) and they were sore afraid. And the angel said (notice there was no singing) unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the
babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, (The practice of swaddling is a very ancient
practice. It is believed to have been
devised around the Paleolithic times about 4500 years ago during the Bronze Age
around 2600 BC. Archaeologists have
uncovered little models of babies wrapped in swaddling clothes dating back to
this period. After an infant was born the umbilical cord was cut and tied. In this case, as there was no midwife, either
Mary or Joseph would have had to do this.
They would then sprinkle the baby with a powder made of dried myrtle
leaves. Then they would gently rub the baby’s skin with a very small amount of
salt that has been finely grounded into a sort of mortar. It was believed this would make his or her
flesh firm and that the infant would grow up speaking with a pure tongue. For
young Jewish parents, this represented a testimony that the parents would raise
the child to be truthful and faithful.
The swaddling cloths were about 5 – 6inch pieces of cloth and were left on for about seven minutes, while laying in a manger)
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of
the heavenly host praising God, and saying, (Not singing which only happens in
manmade songs) Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will
toward men.
E) Then 41 days after his birth, (Leviticus 12:1-4 - And
the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying,
If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean
seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she
be unclean. And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be
circumcised. And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three
and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the
sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.) Jesus was presented to the Lord in the
temple at Jerusalem. This would have been before December at which time the
Magi visited.
F) In late November, the Magi arrived by caravan in
Jerusalem, and on the evening of December 1, they traveled the road south to
Bethlehem in search of the Christ-child. As the sun set and the stars appeared
in the twilight, the planets Jupiter and Saturn "went before them" in
the southern sky as they traveled south. The planets were near conjunction once
again. As the Magi approached Bethlehem, the planets crossed the meridian and
appeared to stand over the city. The Magi sought out the child, offered their
gifts and later departed for Persia by an alternate route so that they would
not pass-through Jerusalem, thereby avoiding Herod.
G) Shortly thereafter, Joseph, Mary and Jesus departed
for Egypt.
H) During the spring of 6 B.C., Herod sent out his
troops to destroy the male children in Bethlehem of Judea and the surrounding
districts. Since Herod devised his plan according to the stars’ appearance, he
would have ordered the deaths of all male children two years old and under,
which would account for all births within the year prior to and following the
star’s first appearance.
I) Two years later, in the spring of 4 B.C., Herod
died. Joseph, Mary and Jesus returned out of Egypt with plans to settle in
Judea. However, since Herod’s son Archelaus reigned there and was as much a
threat to the child’s life as was Herod, Joseph moved with his family to
Nazareth of Galilee where Jesus grew up and later began his public ministry.
So far, we have established, without a doubt. that
Jesus Christ was born in late October or early November of 7 BC In the sign of
5) DAY / WEEK / MONTH / YEAR / ESTIMATED TIME
In order to establish this, we must first keep in mind that their dates are to be in alignment and harmony with the Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance of the numbers used by God when setting up the world, Christ’s birth and running the World.
After researching and rightly dividing the thirty days
from October 15th to November 15, 7B C I have discovered
that there is but one date that fits all the necessary Criteria
Year – 7BC – Seven denotes Spiritual Perfection
Month 10th – represents Completeness
Week of the month – 3rd - stands for
that which is solid, real, substantial, complete, & entire.
Day of Week Friday the 5TH
denotes grace. Grace means favour
Date of Friday 21 which is 3x7
3 - stands for that which is solid, real, substantial,
complete, & entire. -
7 – meaning Spiritual Perfection.
Combined 3 & 7 stand for Completion of Spiritual
Perfection.
12 - Jesus Christ was born at the beginning of the Age
of Pisces which is the twelfth and final astrological sign in the zodiac 12
meaning is a
perfect number, signifying perfection of government, or of governmental
perfection
Jesus Christ was born at the beginning of the Age of Pisces. on Friday October 21, 7BC
Thus, Jesus Christ’s Date of Birth is Friday October 21, 7BC at Night!
